Does my vehicle need to be insured during transport?

No, your vehicle doesn't require insurance on your part during shipment. Our carriers carry insurance to cover your vehicle against damage from their improper handling of the vehicle but not things like road debris, weather, etc. Your insurance, should you have it, would be used for those types of claims. If you carry comprehensive insurance, you would be able to purchase AFTA gap protection to potentially reduce or eliminate further costs in the event of a claim.
